THE COOL FACES OF BASTET NOIR: Meet Jennifer Avina, owner of Renson Social
While I was growing up, the voices shaping my opinion of the world were those of the people I’ve heard speaking on TV or read in the print magazines and newspapers. These people were sort of like the guide into what this world had to offer. As this world changed and the digital medium replaced the printed one, we, the millennial generation started believing more in the power of the individual rather than what collective mediums served us. The rise of the social media platforms, gave us unique perspective into other people’s everyday lives and gave voice to people whose passions would otherwise go unnoticed if it weren’t for the existence of these platforms.
I personally love working with these individuals, also known as influencers, mostly because I love how each and every one of them is unique in their own way, from the way they can tell a story through their photos, to the way they use language to communicate with their followers. The personal relationships they build with their followers are not only long lasting, but also meaningful and trustworthy and that’s everything a brand wants when searching for the right representative. One such influencer who caught our eye while browsing for inspiring women on Instagram is Jennifer Avina, this month’s cool face of Bastet Noir and the founder of the social media agency Renson Social.

JA: A girl that has a huge passion for fashion and travel, and also someone who believes that if you dream big and work hard you will make it happen. At the moment many exciting things are in the works, I couldn’t be more excited to have launched social media agency Renson Social. Being able to share my creativity with other brands and helping them create something amazing through social media is a dream come true.

JA: My personal style is eclectic, fun, posh, with a sexy touch.

JA:I was born and raised in LA so definitely here, and all the fashion capitals in the world such as NYC, LONDON, MILAN, PARIS.

JA:I have so many favorites I love @Xeniaoverdoseshe’s so relatable and her style is amazing too, then we have @Josefinehjamazing personal style, then just discovered @valentinamarzullotravel and Instagram feed goals. There’s more but we’d be here all day.

JA: Cellphone, my lipbalm, and I always need to have a pair of earrings on.
