Let's talk about something NEW & HUGE!

Let's talk about something NEW & HUGE!

Someone much wiser than me once said “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations” and 2017 was all about walking these difficult paths which turned out to lead to the most amazing destinations ever. Along these roads I’ve learnt that being grateful for the things you have is often a gateway for more beautiful things to come and one of the most essential ingredients of happiness. Building on that, I started 2018 with a big smile on my face, eagerness and an unshakable belief that this year will be huge for Bastet Noir. I can’t really explain this strange feeling, but to me it felt like I’ve finally learnt how to believe in my dream. And so, after two months within, what seems to be like an incredible year, Bastet Noir has doubled its sales from last year and it’s finally on the right track to become a label which not only makes beautiful clothing for awesome women, but hopefully inspires and motivates through sharing the incredible tales of resilient girlboss entrepreneurs and women artists throughout the world. We want to stand for something more than just a gorgeous design. We want to inspire women to reach their full potential and show them that everything is possible.

So stepping into 2018, at the beginning of January, we’ve decided that every month we’ll cover the story of one amazing woman in the series “Cool Faces of Bastet Noir”. Some of these stories celebrate strength, while others the actual journey to success, but their common thread is true admiration of extreme braveness, resilience and persistence. Writing their stories, personally for me had been a blast, as they’re my window into the world of powerful women and they never fail to inspire.

We’ve started February with the launch of our “La Vie En Rose” collection which has already proven to be a huge success. Thank you ladies for making that happen. So going forward, our new collection will be coming out in April. It will be dedicated to the white shirt dress and the reinvention of the classic silhouette. For this collection we’ve teamed up with Monika Zec, who’s one of the best graphic designers out there, with illustrations printed in publications like the Oprah magazine, to bring you some amazing illustrated dresses. Just so you can get an idea where we’re going with this, check our Pinterest board. Stripes and gals will rule the world this season.

We know, it’s pretty awesome. We’ve partnered up with DHL, which makes them our exclusive shipping partner.
