Cupro is a fabric created from cotton waste that is referred to as "regenerated cellulose." it's created from the teeny-tiny silky cotton fibres known as linter, which protrude from the cottonseed but are too small to spin.
Cupro is intended to offer all of the benefits of silk, including being silky-smooth and flowing like the luxurious fabric. However, unlike silk, cupro is vegan and cruelty-free because it is made from plants rather than silkworms.
Plus, it can be machine washed, which is better for the environment than dry cleaning fragile silk clothing. The cupro fabric we use is deadstock, meaning we give left over fabrics a second chance to become something amazing.
